Basingstoke Camera Club National Open Photography Exhibition 2020

In late February I entered the Basingstoke Camera Club National Open Photography Exhibition 2020, this is a exhibition accredited to British Photographic Exhibitions and is one of my first attempts at entering a national exhibition.

As i wrote in a previous pos, I have set myself a goal of achieving the a BPE 1 Crown Award, while gaining more experience entering Camera Club style competitions because they tend to differ in how they look a images than how i do for my personal street photography and travel photography projects.e

Basingstoke Camera Club National Open Photography Exhibition 2020 Entries

In summary, I had 1 images accepted scoring 12 points, With Brazilian Beach Babes. Although, I had 2 very near misses with eleven marks.

It is interesting result I’m happy to get one accepted and I’m not upset that teh others failed the grade – its the start of a learning process.

I am due the results of the South Birmingham Societies exhibition soon and it will be interesting to compare as I entered roughly the same images.

Anyway, I have 1 acceptance therefore I’m on my way to my goal.
