Hong Kong Revisited: Average Sights in Mong Kok

Welcome back to #throwback Thursday where every other week we revisit the sights of the Fragrant Harbour. Today we have a small gallery taken in the Mong Kok area of Hong Kong.

Mong Kok is a busy shopping area in the city, frequently by everyone. Mong Kok translates as “busy corner”  and you can always feel a bustle in the area especially in the evening.

One of the defining aspects of living in Hong Kong is the small living space that you have a home, therefore you spend more time outside the house that you do normally. Many ex-pats would just head for the Bars & Restaurants of Soho hang and with other ex-pats – I would take divisions to areas of the city that I new came alive at night. Mong Kok was such an area.

These are 4 images that I took 2 days running around Mong Kong they are average sights nothing special just a record of things that you see if you don’t spend all the time in the ex-pats bars.
