While researching the Star Ferry I can across this beautiful short photo essay my a Hong Kong Student; I think it covers a lot of how I feel about the ferry, although my lack of Cantonese doesn’t allow me to interact with sailor easily.
I believe she has picked up on the peace of the ferry, which something that I very much identify with. Although, in her shot there is a feeling of emptiness which is something I don’t always feel. Yes, the ferry can be quiet at times, and taht one of it charms is that it sail no matter who is on there. However, there is peace also in the busiest of times which is something I would want to show in my own set.
