Hong Kong revisited: 22nd March 2014

Welcome to what I hope will be the first in a long-running series for #throwbackthursday – Hong Kong revisited. I have recently returned to the UK after living in Asia for the past 11 years, and I spent 9 of those years in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is a fantastic place for photography; the streets are lined with photography gold. It was Hong Kong that reignited my love of photography, and I would spend most of my free time wandering the street, capturing images.

With this series, I’m going to be going through my back catalogue of my time in Hong Kong and post up here galleries taken from different days wandering the street.

Why I hear you ask well partly to reminisce and reflect on my photographic style how it has changed; to see how what I learnt in Hong Kong can be used in the UK -where the subjects are much different.

From what I can remember, this was just normal Sunday walking around the city.

My normal action was to create a small album from the days shooting – so this just a small window into the past.
